Reconnecting: What have I learnt and what was the best?

So here’s an interesting fact about the reconnecting part of my challenge. If you add up all the years it has been since I last connected with things and people on my list, it would equal 148.8 years!!!! Who can ever say they've reconnected with over a century worth of things and people?

This category is probably my favourite category for the simple reason that for the most part there’s another person involved.

It’s helped restart some friendships again, like Tom and I. We hadn’t seen each other in 7 years and truthfully I didn't think we’d see each other again as lives on the other side of the world. But since catching up last year we've been in more contact then we were in the past. And hopefully if I can go to Australia again then he can come and visit from New Zealand.

It’s been ten years since I started uni and I reconnected with 4 uni friends this year and as a result the friendships have been refreshed.

Some of the reconnection's were unexpected with Islam in Boots and Luc who I used to work with. It still makes me laugh how we managed to get a picture with Islam and his colleague being completely bemused by the whole situation. Islam was probably a little weirded out by us asking for a picture, but no doubt he’ll recognise us next year.

The marathon was a lot of fun and the punting although I found it fun years ago; it was the complete opposite this time round. I hated it by the end!

It’s really tough to pick which reconnection's were the best, but I've somehow whittled it down to 3. The first being autographs. No it wasn't a person, but me writing to the Neighbours cast for my friend Laura and for them to actually reply was an unbelievable feeling. It still makes me smile to think the cast of a soap took the time to sign a wedding card with funny, witty messages for someone they had never met. That letter that I wrote inspired me to write to other people important in my friends lives. I also wrote to a number of rugby players for another friend to motivate him and I each time I got a reply it was overwhelming that a player would take the time to do a random act of kindness. I had 6 amazing responses and each player wrote their own version of what I asked. Getting any reply in the first place is a little victory when it comes to autographs, for whatever purpose they have.

The second favourite reconnection was with my shorthand teacher Jo. It was such a fun day, and I still remember Humaira and I watching Jo walk into the hotel we were meeting, I felt like royalty was coming to visit! It’s a rare occasion to meet someone who used to teach you not in the teaching arena if that makes sense. I should be used to it as my parents were both teachers and I know a lot of them. But how often do you meet up with teachers that taught you after you've left school or uni? And Jo was way more open than we expected and we got to know her as a person instead of just our shorthand teacher. We’re facebook friends now and we message each other more frequently.

The last favourite reconnection has to be number 29, reconnecting with my old neighbour Hannah. During the challenge it’s been either 2 years or 5 year time period since I last saw someone. However with Hannah it was 20 years which looking at that on paper is a lifetime. In essence I wasn’t just reconnecting with someone from my past, I was getting to know a new people entirely. I mean come on who has the same conversations as when we were 3. There’s only so much you can talk about when it comes to dolls.

Luckily the risk of meeting someone I pretty much didn't know had paid off. She’s already put up pictures when we were young on facebook on my birthday, and I’ll do the same on hers!

Reconnecting although it seems quite scary and daunting from the outside is actually one of the most fun and rewarding things you can do. And yes I know that not all reconnection's work, just look at reconnection number 3, I never heard from the ex/fridge magnet again. But reconnection's can bring opportunities and open doors to new ways of thinking and different angles on memories. So maybe don’t try and attempt a crazy 29 reconnection's in one year, just go for one and see what happens. I want to try and do at least one next year, if not more. Who knows where it will take me?!

Reconnecting #29: Save the best till last

Everyone has that neighbour that they grew up with. For me this was Hannah who lived across the street with and I was friends with till she moved away around the age of 4 I think.

We stayed penpals for a little while and briefly saw each other when we were 10 but then we lost touch.  After adding each other on facebook I think we did try to meet up while I was at uni but it never happened. And then I thought with this challenge, why not get in touch with Hannah. She’s now living in London so the geography wise it couldn't be more perfect, and what’s the worst that could happen? She would say no.

Well she didn’t and yesterday evening we met up, we hadn’t seen each other in around 20 years, and we got on like a house on fire. There were no awkward silences and it was as if we’d be friends all this time. There were also quite a few similarities between us as well, we both went to sports with our dads and we both had in essence free coats. Gone are the days of bowl haircuts and playing with dolls!

As Hitchin is enroute on the way back to Hannah’s parents’ house, Hannah and I are hoping to catch up a bit more regularly then every 20 years!

Reconnecting #28: Old friends?

In 2008 my family took our last ‘family holiday together’ before me and my sisters moved out. 10 days after my graduation we flew out to Australia and went to Melbourne, then stayed with our family friends Karen, Rob, Tom and Emma in Sydney and finished in Queenstown, New Zealand. I think it was while in Sydney or New Zealand we started watching a talk show called Rove and on this show were a couple of guys called Hamish and Andy.

The Harrold sisters in Sydney in 2008

When we got back to the UK, my sister Lisa found out some more about Hamish and Andy and discovered they had their own drive time radio show, and that you could listen to podcasts of it. So back in 2008 we started listening and loved it. It felt like we were listening to a couple of mates having a laugh. It got to the point where we talked about them so often, that my dad had a question about Australia, Lisa and I didn’t know the answer and he asked us to ask Hamish and Andy as he thought they were our friends!

Over the years they've had some really funny moments; getting the bucket to spin on the top of a KFC and discovering and getting Frank Stallone to perform a concert for them were particular highlights. I want to hang out with them at the Melbourne Cup, and forget the Oscars Vanity Fair Party, the only party I want to go to was the Logie Spit Roast Party. And who could forget the brilliant game of random John, where they would phone a random number and hope the person that answered would be called John. It went on for weeks!

Now like some friendships, mine with Hamish and Andy didn’t last. Life got busy and soon I got too behind on the podcasts to catch up. So it was just over a year ago I stopped listening. Yes there have been listeners that would have epic catch up sessions to claw their way back to present day, but I wasn’t one of them. So when my friend Coops who is also a fan (and has even spoken to them) suggested I start listening again, I did just that.

And like catching up with good old friends it was like no time had passed. Yes times have changed. Hamish is now married and has a baby. Andy has a girlfriend after being single since his split with an aussie supermodel. The banter was still there; the phone ins were still funny. The launch party where they relaunched their show was great; they got listeners to launch things and one guy wanted to launch a new grey jacket he bought. And Hamish and Andy’s mum’s interviewed the guys from Magic Mike which was really funny.

So now I’ll be going back to sitting on the train or in the car listening and trying my best to disguise my laughs as coughs once more. It’s good to have Hamish and Andy in my life once more, who knows maybe I’ll call in so I can say long time listener, first time caller!

Reconnecting #27: Journo Rock

Last week I caught up with my friend Hayley who I know from uni. I mentioned her right at the start of this blog as she gave me a phrase for the new phrase part of the challenge.

Hayley and I call each other Journo Rock as during uni we’d always turn to each other when we needed our articles to be checked, and today we still do the same when we each have ideas we want to check aren’t crazy.

We keep in frequent contact, but we haven’t actually seen each other face to face in two years as she lives in Crewe and I’m in Hitchin. Last week was her birthday and she went to the Harry Potter studios which isn’t too far away from me. Hayley didn’t realise this as in her words she has no concept of this country in terms of geography which is very funny. She did think that Hertfordshire sounded familiar.

So we met up in Nandos and along with her fiancĂ© Jonathan had a great evening catching up. Luckily she’s coming to my birthday party in October, so it won’t be another two years before I see Rock again.

Reconnecting #26 and New Places #26: Celebrating 10 years of Friendship

This weekend I went away with 2 of my old house mates from uni; Emma and Lizi. We all went to Staffordshire Uni and were in halls together back in 2005 and then lived together in a student house for 2 years after that.

We thought it would be nice to catch up and stay somewhere, so we went to Abergavenny in a nice little barn conversion at the back of a lady’s farm. It was lovely and we picked great weather. So great I got sunburnt! Yes sunburnt in Wales!

I’d seen Emma about a month or so ago in Birmingham, but it had been 18 months since I last saw Lizi. She’s got the travelling and teaching bug and has taught in Hong Kong and will be heading off to Spain in September to teach as well.

One of the first pictures of me and Lizi back in 2005!

It was great to catch up and we spent the whole time reminiscing, walking, talking, eating and drinking and laughing lots. Lizi brought a game called Dobble which was a great game but gets you very competitive.

Abergavenny was very nice. Going to see my Uncle in Wales my family may have driven through it when I was younger or stopped for a toilet break there, but I’d never stayed there. We walked up Skirrid Fawr which gave great views of the area and had a nice wonder in the area.

Mine, Lizi, Emma and Ro's (our other house mate who couldn't make it) friendship is one that no matter how much time has passed you can just pick up right where you left off. Towards the end Lizi reflected on all our lives in the years that have passed since graduation and sort of gave us all a little pick me up as she focused on all that we had achieved. Emma still lives at home, but her and Lizi have been travelling in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, as well as complete a teaching course and she’s secured her first teaching job starting in September. Lizi focused on the fact that I had been living independently since leaving uni and she finds that I worked in London for a couple of years was a great thing. Sometimes it takes a different perspective to help you remember what you've achieved even if you think you haven’t achieved much. And as for Lizi she’s been dancing to the beat of her own drum, travelling, teaching and exploring the world. Love you Liza-beth as I call her, please never change.

New Experience #25 and Reconnecting #24 and #25: A good old girlie night out

Last night my friend Laura (the one who I did a Neighbours day for) had a local hen do/birthday celebration which was a lot of fun.

When I arrived at Pitcher and Piano where the night first started, she wasn't there and was running late. I did vaguely recognise someone at the bar and it was her friend Helen who I had met years ago when working as a Wedding and Events Coordinator. So straight away I had someone to chat to, and it was great to catch up after all these years.

One of Laura’s friends bought some fake tattoos for everyone and not being a rebellious kid, I never had one growing up. So last night I had my first fake tattoo, a very mature Moomins one!

We then went to a local club called The Ivory, which I hadn't been to in years. The last time I was there, they started playing Justin Bieber and left straight away. When we arrived yesterday we were the only ones there for a good couple of hours, but as the main aim was to get cocktails it meant the group got served quicker than usual.

It’s also where my second bit of reconnecting took place, as the DJ there was a guy called Luc who was the DJ at the venue I was the Wedding and Events Coordinator at. We worked together for 8 months and I’d only seen him once since leaving the job. It was great to catch up and find out all that was happening in the wedding world. Although I was chatting for so long, the girls thought I was chatting up the DJ, but then had to explain that I used to work with him. Knowing him also proved usual later in the night as when the girls wanted a request for Laura I went straight to Luc and within a couple of songs her request was on. It’s not what you know but who you know!

Reconnecting #23: Shorthand, cake and style

Yesterday I met up with my university shorthand teacher Jo Goodall. I went to Staffordshire University from 2005-08 and the last time I saw Jo was at graduation. Ever since I’ve emailed Jo a couple of times a year, keeping her up to date with my life and others who were on the course that I’ve kept in touch with.

Us in 2008 at my graduation.

I thought it would be fitting to meet up this year as it marks 10 years since I started uni, which makes me feel very old!

We went to Hotel Le Tour in Birmingham for an afternoon tea as I thought that would be a great way to catch up. Firstly the afternoon tea was like a 3 course meal in itself, and secondly Jo and I arrived at 2 and left at 5! My friend Humaira who I mentioned earlier in the year on the blog joined us for the first hour, so it was great for Jo to catch up with another student as well. There was lots of laughing, cakes and chatting which is a great combination, and it felt like it was like no time had passed at all.

After the afternoon tea we did a bit of shopping. Anyone in my shorthand class would remember Jo for her stylish fashion sense, and she didn’t disappoint when we looked in a few clothes shops.

It was a great afternoon and I’m proud that me and Jo have maintained contact over the past 7 years. It’s a unique friendship and long may it continue. We’ve both said we won’t leave it another 7 years for our next meet up!

Us today, we've barely changed, lol.

Reconnecting #22: Let’s hug it out

Entourage is one of my favourite shows, even though its target audience is men, I love the banter and the fast pace of it. Ari Gold and Johnny Drama are my favourite characters and when the they announced a film was going to be made I was very excited. Originally I was going to see it with my friend Carmella from uni as it was released near her birthday, but she went to Italy….I know Italy vs Entourage it’s a tough choice, lol.

Rich another friend from uni is also a big fan and as he lives near London we decided to go one Saturday night. It couldn’t have come at a better time as Rich was a bit down in the dumps and Entourage is complete escapism.

Back at graduation in 2008, I don't think we've changed much.

The last time we saw each other was for a film quiz over a year ago, which was just round the corner from where we went to the cinema this time. It was great catching up and Ari Gold and co added to the fun night.

Reconnecting #21: When neighbours become good friends

As I said in my previous post on Sunday I held my friend Laura a Neighbours day. We watched the documentary about Neighbours being 30, played the Neighbours board game where you make up plots and watched 8 classic Neighbours episodes. These included of course Scott and Charlene’s wedding, Jim Robinson’s death and Libby and Drew’s wedding.

I decided to make the day extra special and wrote to the Neighbours cast, pretty much asking for autographs. I first wrote to someone for an autograph when I was a teenager and the first one I got was Jack Ryder’s from Eastenders (whatever happened to him?)

The last time I wrote to someone asking for an autograph was in 2009. My friend and Humaira and I were both job hunting and she was feeling quite low about it. So I wrote to an actor she liked in a show called Material Girl. I asked for a signed picture for Humaira to cheer her up. He replied a few weeks later with a signed picture, and he wrote a good luck note on the back of the picture. I sent it to her as a surprise and she loved it.

Back to the Neighbours cast, around 6 weeks after I sent the letter I got a reply. The minimum I asked for was signed pictures for Laura, but what would be even better was if they signed a wedding card I enclosed, complete with tips for a happy marriage…..and the cast did just that!

I was so shocked and overwhelmed, and when I gave Laura the card she felt exactly the same. It’s amazing how the little things a stranger can do can make the biggest impact. Signing the card probably took a minute tops each for the cast to do, but for Laura as a big Neighbours fan it meant the world and is priceless.

Reconnecting #20: Saturday Shakespeare

My dad Bobby loves Shakespeare, but at school I could never get into or really understand it. I studied Romeo and Juliet in English GCSE, Hamlet in English A Level and Macbeth in Drama A Level.

Since Bobby has retired he’s been seeing a lot of Shakespeare at the Globe and I decided to go with him to see one of the plays. So yesterday we went to see As You Like It, and I really enjoyed it. I understood most of it, and I think that was due to the delivery of the lines and the physicality the actors used. It was very funny in parts and there was even a little tap dance section.

We were groundlings which meant we were standing for all it, and it was only £5 to go and see which was the most surprising thing. The play lasted over two hours so it was real value for money. I wouldn't mind going to see some more.

At the end of the play it was revealed by the education director of the Globe that it was Sam Wanamaker day. He was the one that got the Globe built and they did a little speech about this which was pretty interesting.

The only disappointing thing was that it didn’t rain. I was all set with my bright blue hippo poncho, but I’ll have to save it for another day.

Reconnecting #19: Not allowed to pay

During my uni holidays I had two summer jobs, one was working at an old people’s home and the other was working as an assistant to the conference manager at a conference company. The assistant job meant every summer for 4 years (as I worked there the summer I graduated) I helped the conference manager Liisa Daniels organise and attend risk assessment conferences in 4 and 5 star hotels. Liisa taught me everything on the job and gave me life lessons along the way.

Since leaving the job we’ve managed to stay in contact but although we’re 15 minutes apart in distance we seem to only see each other every couple of years. And a couple of weeks ago we caught up again. Time flies whenever we catch up and before we knew it she had to go and pick up her daughter. Because we were chatting so much I didn’t get a chance to get a picture of us two. So I’ve put a picture of my purse and handbag. Why the random picture? Ever since I've worked for her, she’s never let me pay for any food or drink. I offer, but every time she tells me to put my purse away.

We’re hopefully going to meet up again later this year for a spa day, so this bit of reconnecting has kick started our friendship again on a more regular basis.

Reconnecting #18 and Meet New People #14: Cricket Traditions and a Bowling Cameo

Today my dad and I went to Lords Cricket Ground to see the first day of the England vs New Zealand test. The day started with a bit of reconnecting. We go to the cricket once a year and for the past few years we start the cricket day with getting a Boots Meal Deal from Baker Street station Boots. And every year we get served by the same guy, and today was no different. We got talking to him and even got a picture with him. His name is Islam and no doubt in a year’s time we’ll be served by him again!

Cricket wise it was a great day, England ended up scoring 354 runs after starting off 30-4 which was a great achievement. They announced that in the tea break Steven Finn would be signing autographs. Steven Finn is an England bowler who used to play test cricket but now plays ODI cricket. So I went up to him at the stand he was at, got an autograph and then got a picture with him. He’s the 4th cricketer I’ve met and for some reason I always get nervous around cricketers, so I barely said anything.

And you may think I look particularly small in the picture, but Steven Finn is 6’7!

Reconnecting #17: Casting my vote

I’ve only voted twice before and the last time I voted was around the time I was at uni. The reason I stopped voting is you vote for change, but I didn’t see any change in my life after both times of voting.

But with the challenge making me more open minded I thought I would give voting another go. I did my research and read through the summaries of all the party manifestos and highlighted all the points
I supported. Then the party with the most votes I voted for which I thought was quite educated.

I guess time will tell whether I will vote again!

Reconnecting #16: They don’t make them like they used to

After the marathon my sister Lucy and I went to the BFI (British Film Institute) on the Southbank. They have a great gift shop and they have am archive viewing room where you can watch anything on their archive for 2 hours for free! Considering the weather turned cold (although it had been all day but my cheering at the marathon kept me warm) we thought this was a good way to spend an afternoon.

With such a big collection of British films and TV programmes, what to watch was a pretty big decision. We browsed through the collections and found a Kids TV collection and ended up watching Byker Grove. Not just any Byker Grove episode, it was the paint balling one. The infamous episode where PJ gets blinded, where no doubt lots of people have refused to go paint balling ever since. It was very cheesy; the way it was shot, the dialogue, the hair and the fashion. But it was good to take a trip down memory lane.

We also watched a programme about Going Live, and seeing Philip Schofield with brown hair was a novelty. His presenting must have improved as the programme was about what children thought of the show and they all said they liked it when Philip made mistakes.

I hadn’t used the archive facility at the BFI before, but I’ll definitely use it again.

Reconnecting #15: The best day in London

On Sunday I went to cheer on strangers at the London Marathon with my sister Lucy and my flatmate Charlotte. I last went to cheer about 3 or 4 years ago and I’ve been meaning to go back every year, but other things have got in the way. For me not being a huge fan of the city, it’s the best day in London.

I was on the lookout for my old uni friend Ness and her husband Andy, and the Radio DJ Greg James. To my disappointment I missed them all; I must have been blinded by Greg’s height.

Like the previous times I’ve gone it was great fun, as soon as I saw somebody’s name on their top I started shouting….and didn't stop. Lucy had to get a bottle of water as my voice started to falter about 20 minutes in. I then remembered I had a megaphone in my bag which Lucy had got me for as an ironic Christmas present years ago. Ironic because I don’t need it as I talk so much. (A few days on my voice is still a bit sore.)

Once I got the megaphone out there was no stopping me, I started singing the batman theme tune for a couple of guys dressed as batman and I sang Let It Go for a couple dressed as Elsa and Ana from Frozen. I can’t remember how many people I called my hero or that they were my man but I loved every minute of it.

Lucy also set me a challenge to see how many high fives I could get in a minute, disappointingly I only managed 7. The biggest buzz from cheering was seeing people that were walking when they approached and back to running once I started cheering. I don’t whether that was to get away from my shouting or I actually encouraged them to start running again.

I’ll definitely be going back to cheer next year, I hear George Clooney is going to be running and he’ll need my support for certain!

Reconnecting #14: Coffee and Meryl Streep

A few years ago I was a Wedding Coordinator at a local venue. I was there for nearly a year and planned weddings for 8 months of those. While working there I got on really well with Charmaine the Conference Coordinator. Both weddings and conferences were pretty hectic and there were times we were overworked and understaffed. Charmaine and I were each other’s rocks. I knew she lived on skinny lattes and with a Starbucks round the corner I would buy her these to keep her going. We then thought me buying coffee for her was like Devil Wears Prada with Anne Hatherway being Meryl Streep’s assistant. And so the nicknames of Hatherway and Meryl were born.

When I left the venue I gave ‘Meryl’ a picture of our time together at the venue. This picture was a still of the Devil Wears Prada and I signed it as if I was Anne Hathaway. Years later and ‘Meryl’ still has this on her desk.

We hadn’t caught up since 2013, although we’ve stayed in regular contact. Today we had a lovely catch up in the sun at where else; Starbucks! Things got off to a great start when ‘Meryl’ called me saying she got a sunny table and I thought she said funny table, I asked how could a table be funny?!

                                                Meryl and Hatherway reunited

Like any good friendship it was as if no time had passed, we caught up on our working lives and found out we both loved Neighbours back in the day. So for our next catch we will be watching Devil Wears Prada, and Scott and Charlene’s wedding. It was great to catch up with ‘Meryl’, I hope it isn’t over a year until our next catch up.

Reconnecting #13: Punting paradise?!?

During my uni holidays I worked for a conference company. The company put on conferences for the Risk Assessment industry and on the second day of each conference we’d go punting and have a race. The delegates took it very seriously; teams would be put together on the first night and you could bet on which team was going to win, or buy shares in the betting book. I remember one night somebody bet £1000 on whether the chairman would be pushed into the river!

So for around 4 years every September I’d go punting in either Oxford or Cambridge. My boss would also take me before and after each conference to relax, and one of her friends taught me to punt. The pole is quite heavy and I very nearly hit my boss on the head.

I last went punting in 2009, and last Saturday I went again for my friend Rae-Anna’s birthday. It was a punting treasure hunt, so the first part was punting and then a treasure hunt. Because I’d been punting before I volunteered to punt first, and it was not how I remembered it. It was so much harder and tiring. I got so frustrated really quickly as it was windy so we ended up going round in circles. I slept very well that night!

It was good to reconnect with something I did years ago, but on this occasion I’ll stick with those memories of punting in September sun. It was less tiring and windy back then.

Reconnecting #12: At the pub

Last weekend I watched the England vs France six nations match at The Victoria Pub in Hitchin. It used to be my local as I lived pretty much opposite, but now it’s an almighty 10 minute walk.

                                                                   Me at The Victoria

At half time during the match I was on the way to the toilet when somebody called my name. I turn round and it was a girl called Christi who I went to school with. She was watching the rugby from the other side of the pub and thought she recognised me.

We hadn’t seen each other since upper school which is over 10 years ago, but we had a good catch up on where we are both at in our lives. She’s married with 2 children and living in Stotfold where I grew up.

It was only a 5-10 minute catch up but it was a good way to spend half time of what was a very dramatic match.

Reconnecting #11: Nostalgic Neighbours

The show Neighbours is 30 years old this week, but I haven’t seen the show in 5 or so years. I guess with the increasing amount of good American and British shows made, little shows get pushed to the side, and Neighbours was one of them.

Last night there was a documentary about Neighbours turning 30 and I absolutely loved it. It made me laugh, it made me cry and shout a lot at the TV. It was great that people that made it big like Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue embraced the show and weren’t ashamed of it.

I have been a fan of the show since birth really, although around the age of 9 or 10 was when I became a really geeky fan. So geeky in that I’d go to jumble sales in the search of Neighbours annuals from the 80’s. I won £50 in a school raffle and £10 of that went on the 10 year anniversary video of the show. And around that age I spent my school holidays writing a Neighbours book, yes you read right. I drew pictures of the characters and wrote the biographies of them, as well as draw out family trees. Me and my sister found some of these in the loft last year and my writing was embarrassing.

For our last family holiday before we all left home in 2008 we went to Australia and New Zealand, and while in Melbourne we went on the Neighbours tour. The tour bus played old episodes and I could have stayed on that bus all day. We even got to meet Jackie Woodburne aka Susan Kennedy!

So last night’s trip down memory lane took me back to being a 10 year old Neighbours geek again. I may watch a few episodes coming up that are bringing back old characters. Happy birthday Neighbours, you’re looking great for 30.

Reconnecting #10: Pole sisters

I’ve been going to pole for a few years and friends at pole come and go. With pole lessons you don’t get a pole to yourself, you share it with 2 or 3 others. And when I first started pole classes on a Thursday I shared a pole with Linsey, Alex and Jo. They become your pole sisters. Alex became a mum and so stopped going to pole classes, so we’d still try and stay in contact.

Before you know it over a year has passed since me and Alex last saw each other. We’d been trying to meet up before, but our plans never aligned.

Alex messaged me and Linsey out of the blue as it turns out she’s moving back to Jersey this week! And she wanted to have farewell drinks before she left. So last Wednesday we did just that, and it was as if no time had passed, which is often the sign of a good friendship.

So good luck in Jersey Alex! You know me and my fellow pole sister Linsey will becoming over for a holiday soon!
